Cisco Networking Academy Program

Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for women in association with CISCO systems runs CISCO Local Academy since 2002. The academy offers training for the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.

The Cisco Local Academy is furnished by Cisco routers and Switches, along with fully functional computer laboratory and internet connection. This course involves an instructor-led environment, where students learn at their own pace.

After doing the course, students acquire the skills to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size router and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. CCNA curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. The curriculum also includes the use of protocols like: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2), VLANs, Ethernet, Access Control Lists (ACLs).

Apart from CCNA, our academy also offers various free online exploratory courses on
