The focus of the course is to groom students exhaustively with working, maintenance and application of a multiple array of instruments viz. electrical, electronic, analytical, optical, nuclear and biomedical instruments and microprocessors. Apart from learning basic theory, they study instrument design and gain practical knowledge on reliability and quality control. They are further given intensive training in all the laboratories techniques and functioning of the environment of industries like pharmaceutical, R & D centres and hospitals etc.

Instrumentation Lab

The Instrumentation laboratory has a range of highly sophisticated electronics, analytical, biochemical and biomedical instruments. Some notable instruments are Gas Liquid Chromatographer, High Pressure Liquid Chromatographer with filtration unit and software, UV Visible Spectrophotometer, Karl Fisher Titrator and software,  Sonicator,   Programmable  Ultrasonic Processor and G-24 Incubator Shaker. The laboratory is also equipped with flame photometer, analog and digital colorimeter, microprocessor based pH Meters, ECG Apparatus, Glucometer, ELISA reader, Humalyser, Biopotential recorder for measuring ECG, EEG, EOG, EMG, Blood Pressure measuring instruments and stethoscopes.
