How to Apply?

Admission form along with the prospectus can be obtained on all working days (Monday through Friday) between 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. from 28th May, 2010 (Friday) from the college office on payment of Rs.175/- (non-refundable) at the counter or by post by sending a crossed Bank Draft worth Rs. 200 in favour of "The Principal, Shaheed Raj guru College of Applied Sciences for Women, Jhilmil Colony, Vivek Vihar, Delhi-110095".Seperate form should be filled for each course. Additional forms can be obtained for Rs. 5/- each. Candidates requesting forms by post must also send a self-addressed envelop (10"x8").The last date for receipt of filled in application forms is 11th June, 2010 (Friday) upto 1.00 p.m.

The outstation candidates can send the completed application forms by Registered post to " The Principal, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, Jhilmil Colony, Vivek Vihar, Delhi-110095" so as to reach college not later than 11th June, 2010.

The original Certificate and two sets of self attested photo copies of the following have to be submitted only at the time of admission:
  1. Character Certificate from the institution last attended.
  2. Class 10th Certificate as evidence of date of birth Certificate.
  3. Subject-wise mark sheet of the last examination passed.
  4. Provisional Certificate of the last examination passed.
  5. Certificate from appropriate authority in case the candidate belongs to reserved categories.
  6. 2 recent passport size photographs duly self attested.
  7. Fees payable in cash.


It is made clear that if any false attestation/falsified records are detected, the students will be debarred from attending any course in the University or its college(s) for next five years and in addition, a criminal case under relevant section of IPC (viz. 470, 471, 474 IPC etc.) will be instituted against her, to subject her to the requisite criminal proceeding.
Scheduled caste/Schedule Tribe/Physically Handicapped/ Children/ Widows of armed personnel killed/disabled in action during the hostilities:

The candidates falling in any of the above categories are required to register themselves for admission with Delhi University as per the modalities laid down by the University.

* Reservation for Seats:
         • 22.5% seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates (SC15%, ST 7.5%).
         • 27% reservation of OBC is being done in a phased manner as per directions of University of Delhi.
         • 5% seats are reserved for the children /Widows of armed personnel killed/disabled in action during the             hostilities.
         • 3% seats are reserved for the physically handicapped candidates.
         • The OBC status is to be determined on the basis of the Central list of OBCs notified by the Ministry of Social             Justice & Empowerment on the recommendations of the National Commission for Backward Classes                      available at the website of the Commission (http:"ncbc.nic.in/backward classes/index.html).
